Your Neighbors in Lawn Care Since 2012
Meet Treppendahl Landscape, a Baton Rouge company built on soil science, honest advice and giving back.
Who We Are
Treppendahl Landscape is a south Louisiana based local lawn care and landscaping company that soil tests all new lawn clients, teaches what it knows and treats clients like neighbors, because they are. We have been taking care of Baton Rouge lawns since 2012, and brought our lawn care to the Lafayette area in 2025.
Our Story
Rob Treppendahl started the company in 2012, fresh out of college, hoping to combine his love for the outdoors, people and building a business. It began as a typical do-it-all landscaping company. Pretty quickly, it grew into something more focused: a specialized residential lawn and landscape maintenance company that does a few things very well.
In 2017, we expanded beyond Baton Rouge into the surrounding towns, and today our lawn crews work from the Ascension and Livingston parishes out to the Lafayette area. What has not changed is how we work. Every new lawn treatment client gets a soil test, because we would rather measure what is happening underground than guess. It is a whole-lawn approach, and it is the backbone of our 7 Step Annual Lawn Treatment Program.
What We Believe
Four core values guide how we hire, train and show up at your house:
Purposeful Impact
We strive to positively impact our community, improve landscapes and inspire our team to their highest potential.
Proactive Discipline
We bring efficiency, determination, timeliness and excellence to every part of our work.
Ownership Mentality
We go past assigned expectations and roles, going the extra mile to move the company forward.
Teachable Spirit
We are eager to receive feedback, slow to be defensive and always working to be lifelong students.
We take our time in hiring to find the right fit, and once someone is on board, we train them well. It is why our clients tell us they feel like part of the family. Read what they say on our reviews page.
We Give Away Our Secrets
Most companies guard their know-how. Rob does the opposite. His library of DIY videos on YouTube and Facebook shows you how to tackle weeds, fertilizer, mulch and planting yourself. If you can do it on your own, great. If you would rather hand it off, we are here. Start with our Helpful Tips videos.
Giving Back to Our Community
We are locals, and we want the place we live and work to thrive. Over the years we have supported the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and other nonprofits, and we have been part of projects like these:
- Baton Rouge Young Life: Skeet Shoot sponsor
- Hands Producing Hope: Gala sponsor, plus volunteer cleanup at their shop on Government Street
- Sunrise Rotary Club's annual Beer, Bands & BBQ: event donor
- A local Boy Scouts of America troop: donated materials for a community project
- Open Air Ministries: volunteer cleanup work, materials and equipment
- Christ Covenant School and Montessori School of Baton Rouge: giveaway sponsor
